Ma. – Jyketie

The first album by ‘Ma.’ – made in 2008 – before collaborations with electronic musicians Steve Argulles and now full time collaborator Matt Calvert. Recorded at the infamous (and now sadly defunct) Red Rose Social Club in Finsbury Park, the album is a testament to the searing heights and earthy lows the trio regularly achieved in concert at that time. Tom Challenger & Tom Rogerson – Cable Street Shorts

Throbbing frequencies and kaleidoscopic dynamics are accentuated by minimal melodicism that features throughout. Tom Challenger (Ma., Outhouse, Red Snapper) collaborates with Tom Rogerson (Three Trapped Tigers) in an improv-duo setting utilising their acoustic instruments (Saxophone and Piano respectively) alongside the mighty Farfisa Organ/Drum Machine and various effects.
